The lake zone region of Tanzania is the home of Lake Victoria. The so called Victoria basin. The lake has a collection of five ports at your disposal for you to choose from. With Mwanza port which has the Motor Vessel Victoria which goes to bukoba the home of Kemondo bay and Bukoba port and MV Umoja that goes to Portbell Uganda and sets sail from Mwanza south port. Inclusive in the lakezone is the Musoma port in Mara and Nansio port still in Mwanza.
Still available is the Kigongo ferry where MV Misungwi and MV Sengerema also operate to help locals, travelers, transporters like big fuel tracks, tourist vehicles and so much more cross from the Misungwi end of the Lake Victoria to Sengerema end of Victoria.
Available still is Kamanga just at the banks for Lake Victoria as the scenery of the popular bismarck rocks. Normally used for small and medium size vehicle and passengers to other end of the lake to connect to Sengerema and Geita and through routes to Bukoba.
